Associate Director - Rare Disease Unit (Non-Oncological) Ealing, LondonThis exciting position – which reports into a Lead Research Director at THE PLANNING SHOP – will be responsible for: delivering high quality research projects; managing a team of researchers on projects; advising and supporting global operations in the resourcing of all research projects; contributing to the strategical and tactical direction of THE PLANNING SHOP; delivering profit; and helping to win repeat and new business from clients.
Requirement: a minimum of five years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical market research agency. Client side experience also an advantage.
Associate Director - Qualitative Research - Varied Therapy Areas Ealing, LondonA vacancy has arisen in our Ealing office for the position of Associate Director, Qualitative Research - a post which reports into a Research Director at THE PLANNING SHOP. This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Research Manager looking to make the step to an Associate Director.
The job purpose is to lead multiple qualitative research projects and to manage and motivate the professional researchers on the project team. The role will also encompass: helping to win repeat and new business from clients; advising and supporting Global Operations in the resourcing of all research projects; ensuring the successful implementation of THE PLANNING SHOP’s research methodologies; contributing to the strategical and tactical direction of THE PLANNING SHOP; and delivering profit.
Requirement: a minimum of five years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical market research agency. Client side experience, and multiple therapeutics experience an advantage. An expert in ad-hoc qualitative and some quantitative market research techniques (ideally 60/40) also required. Team management and development experience.
Senior Research Executive Ealing, LondonThis is an exciting and interesting role working in THE PLANNING SHOP’s Ealing office. The successful post holder will be required to project-plan and implement qualitative (and quantitative) research projects from proposal to final presentation stage, working within a research team, alongside a Project Leader and Consultant.
Requirement: good market research skills in specialised qualitative techniques and models, and a minimum of two years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical market research agency (two years of which should have been at Research Executive level). Post holder should also be prepared to travel for fieldwork as required.
Research Director – Oncology Ealing, LondonReporting directly to the VP of Oncology at THE PLANNING SHOP, the successful candidate will specialise in Oncology and will effectively manage projects and a team of researchers ensuring the successful implementation of THE PLANNING SHOP research methodologies. He/she will also support the Business Development team by encouraging repeat business amongst clients; advise and support global operations in the resourcing of research projects; deliver an agreed target turnover of projects; and be part of the management team, actively contributing to the strategic and tactical direction of the company.
Requirement: a minimum of eight years’ experience working in a market research agency, with time spent with a pharmaceutical focus; business development and client-side experience also an advantage; a passion for Oncology and the pace of change within this therapy area; the hunger to win projects and guide them to their successful conclusion.
Associate Director - Oncology Ealing, LondonThis interesting and varied role reports directly to the Vice President, Oncology, at THE PLANNING SHOP.
The purpose of the role is to win repeat business and develop a loyal client following by delivering oncology research projects of an exceptional quality. The role involves: ensuring the successful implementation of THE PLANNING SHOP’s research methodologies; being responsible for the high quality delivery of projects; effectively managing and developing researchers throughout projects; advising and supporting global operations in the resourcing of research projects; and delivering projects within budget.
Requirement: a minimum of five years’ experience working in a market research agency, with time spent on a pharmaceutical focus; some knowledge in Oncology (at least 10 projects); client-side experience would be helpful, as would business development/client-side experience; line management responsibility also an advantage.
